Please note that this route is using permissive path. This is a route the public may use only because the landowner gives permission. It is not a public right of way.
Terrain: Well‑made farm tracks mixed with a simple unmade footpath along the field edges.
1
From the car park, follow the wide waymarked footpath up the hill, keeping straight on as it turns into a gravel farm track. Stay straight ahead.

2
After a short downhill stretch you’ll reach a T‑junction. Turn right, following the footpath sign, and continue straight along the unmade track with a field on your left and a tall hedgerow on your right.

3
At the end of the track, follow the footpath line to your right at. The route continues along the field edge, now with the field on your right and the hedgerow on your left. This section is a permissive path, open at the landowner’s discretion.
In spring and autumn, when the leaves are thinner, you may catch some lovely glimpses through the hedge to your left.

4
When you reach the far corner of the field, follow the path as it bends right to stay along the field edge. Keep going on the unmade path through some trees, where it becomes a gravel farm track again.

5
Continue along the farm track, with some lovely views. Then turn left at the large junction and retrace your steps downhill back to the car park.
