Walk Alton will be joining Cycle Alton to celebrate the launch of their new website with an afternoon of cycling fun on Saturday 28th March. Cycle Alton is encouraging cycling fans to ride into town together by joining one of their free, led, family-friendly bike rides from five meeting points around town: Southview Rise, Anstey Park, Salisbury Close, Chawton car park, and Buntings. Riders should meet at 11.15 for an 11.30 start. No booking is required.

From noon in the Market Square, there will be free bicycle checks, Hampshire Police will be on hand to offer free bicycle security marking, and nearby outlets will be offering discounted refreshments. Plus, you'll be able to see the new Cycle Alton website and pick up a new Cycle Alton/Walk Alton map, which highlights the town's network of footpaths and quiet cycle routes connecting neighbourhoods to the town centre and surrounding countryside.
