Selection of walking and outdoor gear available

A lovely member of our walking community has got in touch to offer up outdoor clothing and accessories, should anyone be in need of something new. Penny says:


"I have a lot of men's/unisex walking  and outdoor gear to dispose of – much of it Paramo or Rohan.  Some is almost new, some used but serviceable and some suitable for gardening or working parties.  Mostly not the most recent styles. Rather than selling the items, I am asking for a donation to Alton Ramblers to be used by the footpath maintenance team to keep our local footpaths open."


Items include:

  • Large rucksacks - Lowe Alpine and Osprey

  • Boots - light and heavy Walking shoes/trainers

  • Trousers

  • Windproof jacket and trousers.

  • Old Berghaus waterproof.

  • Shirts

  • Wicking T shirts/base layers

  • Fleeces

  • Hats, gloves and scarves.

  • Heavy Paramo Alta jacket and Cascada trousers (not overtrousers)

  • Paramo fleece

  • Lined Rohan trousers

  • Ajungilak hollowfibre mummy sleeping bag (3 seasons I think)

  • Rucksack drinking system

  • Mini crampons

  • Gaiters

  • Silva compasses

  • and assorted other things – if there is something specific you need, please ask.


Sizing is mainly small or medium chest, waist 32 and 34  shoe/boot size UK 9- 9.5 and 44- 45
