Autumn Walking Festival bookings open soon

Booking will soon go live for the Autumn Walking Festival, a week-long event that builds on the momentum of May’s successful month-long walking celebration.

Scheduled for 13th to 19th October, the free festival will offer participants a carefully curated selection of the most popular walks from the main festival, all set against the stunning golden foliage of autumn.

The October event promises to showcase the town's most beloved walking routes, taking advantage of the dramatic seasonal transformation that autumn brings to the local landscape. With trees displaying their golden colours and crisp autumn air, participants will be able to enjoy familiar paths in an entirely different setting.

Registration for the Autumn Walking Festival will open on 15th September, when the booking link goes live on the council's website. Walking enthusiasts are advised to mark their calendars, as the handpicked selection of routes is likely to book up quickly.
