On 16 October at 7pm Walk Alton organised an open discussion with some keynote speakers about the benefits of walking for all aspects of our wellbeing, social, mental and physical health. Ladies walking group 16 November 2019

We do a country walk (5-6 miles/2 hours) once a month. On Saturday 16 November we will be walking. from Farringdon to Newton Valence and back via Selborne Common (this originally planned for 26 Oct but cancelled due to the weather). Did you know that on 1 January 2026, pathways and bridleways not shown on the Definitive Map will be lost forever ? The Alton Ramblers have formed a small group engaged in discovering and recording Rights of Way (ROW) that are not currently shown on the Definitive Map. If you enjoy looking at old maps, walking in the countryside and a bit of detective work, why not join in with this important quest.
