Home Farm Walks

Published: 27 March 2019

Set in a rolling landscape of farmland, woods and hedgerows, Home Farm is one of the largest native woodland creation sites in southern England.

The 137ha (338.5 acres) site is a mosaic of different habitats, including open grassland, secondary woodland, conifer woodland and an area of ancient semi-natural woodland. Since the Woodland Trust purchased the land in 1990, we have planted around 67,000 trees and shrubs to create new woodland.  The diversity of habitats at Home Farm attracts a wide range of wildlife as well as offering visitors a large area where they can enjoy getting close to nature.

Join knowledgeable Site Manager, Phil Truluck, for a guided walk to discover more about this haven for wildlife. Dates: Friday 7th June and Friday 9th August – Booking essential at  https://woodlandtrusttickets.cloudvenue.co.uk/guidedwalksathomefarm  £10 per adult and £5 per child (over 10 years).
